ABOUT

Paul grew up in Kent, and went to Canterbury College of Art, followed by the London College of Printing where he studied graphic design. He worked for a few film and television companies before working as a trainer in the digital reprographics world of production and printing. Art has been his passion, and although he hasn't exhibited very much, he has a growing collection of his own work at his studio. Paul has always admired the work by artists William Turner, Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko and Howard Hodgkin.
His artworks vary quite a lot, even producing a reasonable quantity of digital pieces, including some kaleidoscopic images that he made from his nature photography. Although Paul likes abstract expressionism, he sometimes finds himself drawn to geometric shapes with subtle colour mixing and accuratetly painted edges. In the last few years he has also made some interactive content on the web, some of which has been very popular worldwide. One of his pictures has been viewed over 6.5 million times online.
